The FEMaS-CA project partnership combines the unique expertise of
27 institutions all over Europe.

It assembles this critical mass of experts from different materials-related research centres, universities and science institutes in a multi-sectorial and cross-cutting approach.

Regarding the quality of the participation in the project activities all institutions contribute within the specific fields of their excellent and proven expertise.

The research centres and universities participating provide their excellent infrastructure in terms of material testing and characterization equipment. In all work packages a significant number of facility providers is listed.

The participating large-scale facilities are at the leading edge on world-wide scale.

In addition, all fusion reactor material classes which have been defined by EFDA as priority materials are properly covered by the expertise of the FEMaS-CA partners.
